Sufi from Heart

My name is Khanak Joshi. I was born in Shirdi (Maharashtra) on 18th May 2006.
I am studing B A Honors Urdu from Aligarh Muslim University.

I started learning Indian Classical (Hindustani) Vocal music when I was 3 years old from Pt.Vinod Kaushik, Shri R.P Singh ji & Vidushi Uma Garg (Dean of Music faculty Delhi University). I started my journey of Sufi & Light Music with  Late Pandit Harikishan Pahwa jiin Bangalore and Classical music from Ustad Ghulam Murtuza Khan Niyazi  ji who lives in Karachi..CurrentlyI am also learning Sufiana Singing from Ustad Tanveer Ahmed Khan Sahab ( Delhi ) & Chote Jaani in Bangalore...

I have won many awards participating in inter-school, city level & National competitions .I was also awarded Uttrakhand Idol Award for my acting skills by ZEE BUSINESS channel. I was invited by ALL India Radio Najibabad, Delhi & Cuttack for recording my interview & performance for Children’s Programmes many times. I was invited by DELHI & BANGALORE DOORDARSHAN for performing in their in-house programmes many times.I have also performed in channels like News Nation, Disha TV, Aastha, IBN7, SUVARNA TV, Udaya TV Jallandhar Doordarshan , Kannada TV etc.

I went to Finland on Cultural Exchange Trip and performed there.

I became Winner of World-wide Talent Hunt 2013 Contest organised by Shankar Mahadevan ji. I was lucky to perform with Shankar ji on 22nd March 2014 at Hotel Park Plaza, Bangalore.
